Main Roles
- Raise awareness and build the capacities of PWDs, their families, and the local community.
- Raise public awareness through media initiatives and campaigns on disability rights and issues.
- Support the creation of self-help groups of empowered PWDs, and build their capacities to advocate for their rights and issues.
- Coordinate, partner and participate in national efforts to support the rights of PWDs.
- Mainstream disability rights and issues in the agendas of public and private institutions and organizations.
- Draft reports, studies, and other material that focus on PWDs’ rights and issues.
- Contribute to mainstreaming PWDs’ causes and rights in national laws, policies and sectorial strategies.
