Al Karmel Community Center – Yatta, Hebron

Al Karmel Community Center is one of the community centers that is technically supervised by the Community-based Rehabilitation (CBR) Program in Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR). It has been operating since 2019, through cooperation between BASR and the Municipality of Al Karmel, to enhance access to inclusive education, vocational training, and occupational therapy rehabilitation. In order to serve people with disabilities in Yatta and the surrounding villages, the center targets people over 14 years of age with all disabilities except for intellectual disabilities, and enables them to learn different professions in order to enhance their opportunities for economic participation in society.
