Association for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities – Al-Arroub camp

The Association for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities is one of the community centers that are technically supervised by the Community-based Rehabilitation (CBR) Program in Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR). It was officially registered in 2004, with the aim of promoting the integration of persons with disabilities after their rehabilitation in several aspects such as education, vocational training, and employment. The association serves the Al-Aroub camp area and its surrounding villages such as Beit Fajjar, Shuyoukh Al-Aroub, Halhul, and Beit Ummar. The association works with people with motor, intellectual and speech disabilities, learning and psychosocial difficulties, and autism.
The association’s work revolves around education, through special education, inclusive education, speech and language rehabilitation, physiotherapy, social counseling and psychological support, in addition to providing interventions in the sensory room.
