A cooperation agreement was signed on 07 February, 2024, between Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation and the Representative Office of the Czech Republic in Palestine with the presence of his Excellency Ambassador Jakub Šlosárek, and the Development Cooperation and Economic Affairs Coordinator – Ms. Anna Moravkova. Under this agreement framework, a project focusing on enhancing orthopedic interventions at BASR’s hospital will be implemented.

The meeting also included an in-depth discussion on challenges facing the health and rehabilitation sector in Palestine, and an emphasis on the importance of the vital support provided by the Czech Republic in advancing healthcare in Palestine. Both parties also explored possibilities for mutual cooperation, paving the way for impactful initiatives ahead.
