We were honored at Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR) to receive a delegation of members and friends from Welfare Association – Taawon, to learn about the outcomes of Enhancing Hearing Abilities Program for children with severe hearing impairments through cochlear implantation. This program was implemented by BASR in partnership with Welfare Association – Taawon, and with the support of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa managed by the Islamic Development Bank. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the impact and importance of cochlear implant intervention for children with severe hearing difficulties in Palestine, where BASR is a pioneer in this field, with experienced doctors and specialists.
