Al-Thahereyeh Center is one of the community centers that is technically supervised by the Community-based Rehabilitation (CBR) Program in Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR). Work began in 2017 through cooperation between BASR and the Al-Thahereyeh Municipality, in order to facilitate the access of persons with disabilities to their educational rights and respond to their rehabilitation needs. In Al-Thahereyeh and its surrounding villages, the center receives people with motor, intellectual and speech disabilities, in addition to learning and psychosocial disabilities of different classifications.
