Dura Al-Amal Charity Association is one of the community centers that is technically supervised by the Community-based Rehabilitation (CBR) Program in Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR). Work began in 2018 through cooperation between BASR and the Municipality of Dura, with the aim of enhancing the access of persons with disabilities to educational and rehabilitation services specialized in Dura area and all its affiliated communities. The association targets people with motor, intellectual and speech disabilities, learning and psychosocial disabilities, and autism. The center contains rehabilitation facilities for physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language rehabilitation, special education facilities, a special department for dealing with children with autism, and a pre-vocational training department.
