The Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Program at Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR), in partnership with Dura Municipality and local partner organizations represented by the municipalities of Al-Thahereyeh, Beit Ummar, Al-Karmel, Bani Na’im, Tufuh, and the Joint Service Council for Planning and Development/Rural Dura, inaugurated the third Product Bazaar on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023. The aim of the bazaar was to showcase local products produced by people with disabilities (PWDs), their families, and local community institutions.
This bazaar is part of the ongoing initiatives supported by BASR’s CBR Program, that aims at raising awareness of the issues and rights of PWDs, economically empowering them and their families, as well as promoting local innovation and enhancing local partnerships to build inclusive communities for PWDs and their rights. The goal is to reach a society that respects diversity, where PWDs have full and active participation.
The bazaar featured a wide range of products, including food items, sweets, household utensils, clothing, handicrafts, accessories, and more.
