SOCIAL PROTECTION
A specialized unit in the provision of social counseling and protection for PWDs based on their social, economic, and family context.
Main Roles
- Identify and assess the needs of PWDs and their families on the social and economic levels, and build an intervention plan accordingly when necessary.
- Contribute to the documentation of violations and violence that PWDs might be exposed to in different aspects.
- Provide social and legal counseling for PWDs and refer them to the relevant supporting interventions.
- Coordinate with specialized units and organizations to deliver psychosocial support services for PWDs when necessary.
- Provide social protection interventions to PWDs exposed to violations, taking into account the surrounding psychosocial and economic circumstances.
