We at Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR) were honored to welcome a delegation from the General Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid in Belgium (DGD) and from the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel) and the Consulate General of Belgium in Jerusalem.

The aim of this visit was to strengthen the strategic historical partnership between BASR and current and previous Belgian institutions and partners, but also to expand this cooperation to include new partners. During the visit, there was a strong focus on the role that these Belgian institutions played in the process of promoting inclusive community development in Palestine, whereby all members of society have access to Rights and services without any form of discrimination.

During the visit, BASR expressed its gratitude for these strategic partnerships with Belgian partners that aim to improve service provision for the Palestinian people, especially in relation to the rights and issues of persons with disabilities.
