Awad Obayyat has a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Literature and Psychology, and a master’s degree in Education and Psychological Counseling. He previously worked as an instructor in Al-Aala’iyah School for people with visual disability. Moreover, he was the director of Palestinian Union for People with Disabilities in Bethlehem. He participated in several conferences, committees, and seminars on disability, and he is a member of several national bodies and unions in relation to disability. Awad has represented Palestine in the Arab Forum for Disability. He conducts many training in relation to advocacy, empowerment, and awareness, as well as specialized disability training.
