Mahran Al-Tawil holds a Master of Arts in Democracy and Human Rights, and a BA in Public Administration from the Faculty of Law and Public Administration at Birzeit University. He has previously worked with different organizations including the Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ), the Central Elections Committee and the East Jerusalem YMCA – Rehabilitation Program, during which he took part in published research in topics such as media and disability, the right to work, and access to information. Mahran has also previously managed the Economic Empowerment Program at BASR. He has worked in the disability and rehabilitation sector in Palestine for the past 12 years, and has an extensive experience in this field working with different national and international stakeholders. He has a great interest in philosophy and political science.
